Bay Area breast cancer organization raises funds to help people living with breast cancer

Breast cancer doesn’t discriminate. Virtually everyone has been touched by it in some way. Maybe you’ve just been diagnosed, or you’re a long-time survivor. Or maybe it’s your mother, sister, best friend…or even your dad who has had a bout with the disease. Yet there are many in our midst that don’t have the resources to help them get through the difficult journey.

With the generous support of our generous sponsors, partners and volunteers, To Celebrate Life through its Grants Program, is here to implement the Foundation’s vision that no one in the nine-county Bay Area should face breast cancer alone. Since 1996, To Celebrate Life has granted over $4.55 Million to fund emergency, direct services and financial assistance for breast cancer patients.

WE ARE GRATEFUL for the commitment of our longtime sponsors, volunteers and supporters whose gifts of time, talent and in-kind contributions allow us to fund our Breast Cancer Grants Program. This dedication and support enabled us to grant $300,000 in 2016 to 16 Bay Area organizations that help people struggling with breast cancer. These grants provide critical services to underserved patients coping with overwhelming health and financial emergencies.

In 1996, ten women envisioned an organization that would help fund emergency and direct services for the underserved. As we celebrate our 20th year, we look forward to your continued partnership and support so we can continue to fulfill our vision – No one should face breast cancer alone.
