Kentfield, CA (July, 2015) — To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation celebrated the 20th anniversary of their fundraiser and fashion show, Stepping Out To Celebrate Life, with a model reunion luncheon on June 14th at the Marin Country Club in Novato, CA.  A volunteer-based nonprofit organization, the Foundation’s goal is to ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone. Proceeds generated from this event are distributed to nonprofits that fund emergency and direct services for women and men with breast cancer in underserved populations throughout the Bay Area.

The luncheon, themed “Twenty Shades of Pink” which focused on Reunion, Reconnection, and Inspiration, was attended by 145 guests including female and male models from 1996 to 2014, breast cancer physicians who escort the models on the runway, and past and present To Celebrate Life board members. Models from as far as Santa Fe, New Mexico attended the event which was an emotional afternoon filled with hugs, laughter and tears.

“The day was magical from beginning to end,” said event co-chair and former model, Kristen Bennett. “Several models told me how appreciative they were for the opportunity to once again join their fellow models in a celebration of life.”

“It was wonderful to be reunited with the models I know not only through my practice but also through my involvement as an escort in Stepping Out,” said Dr. Bobbie Head, a Marin oncologist.  “I feel blessed to be a part of this very special event.”

The 2015 Stepping Out: An Evening of Enchantment, 20th Anniversary Gala, will take place on September 26th at the Marin Center Exhibit Hall in San Rafael, CA. For more information visit
