About Us

Jeanne CapurroSue Carlomagno

Sue was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1994, then again in 2002. During that time she attended several Stepping Out to Celebrate Life events. In 2002 she was a Stepping Out model and began to truly learn the value of To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation, their services to the community, and the positive impact the organization made on the many individuals and breast cancer organizations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Although her time was very limited because of her work as founder and director of the Youth in Arts Italian Street Painting Festival, she managed to contribute, in small ways, to Stepping Out. Sue retired as festival director in 2007 and after a year of totally enjoying retirement, her creative energies are renewed and she is ready to help the Foundation as a board member.
